UPDATE: Sorry to report that this event has been indefinitely postponed by its organizers – KJ 4/6/15
YOU GUYS. I am playing in this show. At Mechanics Hall in Worcester. And I’m a little bit beside myself, and a whole lot of excited.
The show is raising money for an independent film called “Life Abstract.” From the Life Abstract website: Although Life Abstract is a commercial endeavor, it is the filmmaker’s intention to give back to the LGBTQ community and all our amazing supporters through the sale of this film.
I’m pretty honored to be a part of this amazing line-up:
Stage 1: Antigone Rising, Bitch, Catie Curtis, Melissa Ferrick, Kristen Merlin, Sick of Sarah, Suzanne Westenhoefer and Uh Huh Her
Stage 2: Mimi Gonzalez, Run Jenny, Lauren Bateman, The Last Year, Bethel Steele, Kim Jennings, The G-Spots, Wendy Sobel and Kathy Phipps
There will be music and dancing. I am planning to rock my mama head off before and after my set. You don’t want to miss that.

Just had the final pre-show rehearsal last night for Lori & Fred’s CD release this Saturday. I’m singing harmonies with their band – and wow, my little harmony head was super happy. This show is going to be amazing!

Exciting news – I’ve joined the Somerville Songwriter Sessions team of hosts! I’ll be hosting my first SSS show on Saturday, February 7. All our SSS shows are in the Armory Cafe at Arts at the Armory.

This just in – I’ve been selected as a finalist at the 16th Annual Eventide Arts Songwriting Competition!
